Terra di Cortona is owned by Gustavo Banelli, a doctor of alternative medicine from Cortona. The reception and the estate are maintained by Enrico and his wife Stefania, hard workers that literally do everything to make the guests comfortable. You will be assisted in every detail and the cleaning of the apartments is spotless.

The estate Terra di Cortona lies in a strategic position between the beautiful Tuscan town of Cortona and the Trasimeno lake. The independent farmhouse consists of five spacious apartments. The farmhouse has a panoramic and private swimming pool. Its wonderful panoramic position with view over the hills heading up to Cortona create a serene atmosphere. The house has been carefully decorated in rural Tuscan style. In the garden of the property there is a pool with solarium, barbecue and volleyball field.

All apartments have views over the Tuscan countryside surrounding the farm and the mythical town of Cortona, the pride of this panorama. The materials used in the renovation fully respect the architectural style of the Tuscan house with wooden beams, plastered and painted walls, subtly interspersed with areas of rough stone or brick and terra cotta floors. The apartments of the estate are equipped with air conditioning, electric oven, fridge with freezer, satellite TV, heating system and independent entrance. The laundry room is in common use.

One of the main reasons for staying at this location is its favorable geographical position near some of the Tuscan highlights. The highway Siena-Pisa is reached quickly, which gives a huge freedom of movement throughout the region. The cozy villages along the Trasimeno lake, Passignano, Tuoro and Castiglione del Lago, are easy to drive to, and a visit can be combined with a day on the water. The lake is surrounded by green rolling hills, dotted with ancient castles and medieval villages. Besides the beautiful Cortona, a must, also Perugia, Arezzo, Montepulciano and Siena are within a one-hour drive.
