Villa Sambuco is a prestigious luxury villa in the heart of Tuscany with a private pool and gym. Guests of the villa are guided by Chris Lenders and Monica Capitolini, both hosts with over 15 years of experience in Italy. They are available for assistance with organizing a private chef, excursions, transport and agricultural experiences in Tuscany.

The two-floor villa, which preserves its historic façade, has been completely renovated and it’s equipped with all modern comforts, including Internet access, satellite television and an infinity pool. Villa Sambuco has six bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Three of the upstairs bedrooms have extraordinary views over the valley and the estate. The two downstairs bedrooms provide guests with private entrances.

All bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds.A large dining room adjoins the modern, fully equipped kitchen. The living area includes two large entertaining rooms perfect for hosting private parties or relaxing with family and friends. A patio, covered with grapes and roses, with two large tables near the dining room, is the perfect place for meals; a second patio is located by the pool near the wood burning oven.

Villa Sambuco is neatly furnished and decorated with antique and contemporary furniture that, combined with the owners' personal collection of contemporary art, gives life to the walls and interiors.

The swimming pool, heated with solar panels, offers breathtaking views over the valley, which stretches from Radicofani to Pienza. Also, the villa has a small gym that allows guests to work out using the best weighted cable resistance equipment. Villa Sambuco is completely fenced off and guarantees absolute privacy.

Villa Sambuco is located in the south of Tuscany, between the hamlets of Sarteano and Radicofani. This area is located between the populous Valdichiana and the wild Val d'Orcia, and it is considered one of the richest and most beautiful in Italy for its culture, beauty and traditions.

On one side, the soft, wooded hills with their superb views stretching as far as the mountains of Lazio and Le Marche, and on the other, the views of the arid and fascinating Val d'Orcia, offer a dimension of nature that surprises and involves. This area not only offers unforgettable landscapes, famous archaeological sites and delicious cuisine but also many activities to simply enjoy: culinary and wine tours, cooking lessons, culture tours with expert guides and drivers, Italian lessons, local events, festivals, concerts, jazz festival, the famous Palio, spas, bike tours, horse riding, golf, plane, helicopter and hot air balloon tours are all valid and entertaining options we will be happy to help you choose among.

Furthermore, for the art lovers, we also own an art gallery dedicated to contemporary art, currently featuring around 300 pieces. If you want to consider doing something sportive with your family, kids, friends or group, you can opt for our guided canoe or paddle tour of Lake Trasimeno, and combine it with a guided hike of its small island named Isola Maggiore. You can also have a wine tasting event at Via della Stella of our friend Chiara Vinciarelli. Upon request Chiara also combines this wine tasting with a lunch.
